Hello, my name is Jason, and I'm from a small town in western China. Our town is poor. The only resource we have is our ancient history. We have several famous international tourist attractions. And we produce related cultural silk products and sell them to the world.
The silk products that we produce aim at the Southeastern Asia market. We plan to sell them to Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
We have built an international Amazon store so that people in Southeastern Asia can buy our products. The problem is, nobody in those countries knows about us.
We thought of many ways to do the marketing. Advertising is too expensive. Emails are not popular anymore with little effect.
We want many people to know about us with a low budget.
That's when we knew about SMS messaging.
To be frank, I was not paying enough attention to this marketing method at first. SMS messages have appeared and been used for so many years. How it can help me is my first thought.
Then I searched on Google and discovered that SMS messaging is a good marketing way for small business owners like me.
As a small business merchant, I don't have much budget to do the marketing. I don't have any customers at the beginning. I don't know anybody in the places that we want to sell.
How can SMS messaging help my business?
Well, I did some research and learned some tips from the Internet.
1. Buy some leads.
Yes, you can buy a customer database online.
There are online platforms that provide this kind of service. I don't know how they get this database. They may accumulate it from other businesses.
I entered into one platform, and it showed like this:

2. Cooperate with an SMS platform.
We consulted several SMS provides, and in the end, we chose BUKA as our SMS provider.

c. Fill in the phone numbers and message content.
5. Submit.
You see, the process is not complicated.
What I shall do after submission is to wait for the rise of the clicking rate of my Amazon store. I'll write another article to share my experience.
