Some Facts About Message Verification Code

The message verification code is also called the SMS verification code. It is two-factor authentication (2FA) used by big and small companies like Facebook, PayPal, Microsoft, Twitter, Sony, Uber, Dropbox, Amazon... And the list goes on.

With a message verification code, the merchants can better verify the validation of their customers and create more security. When people input their account and password, it is possible that this information had been stolen and another person is using it. Nevertheless, with a 2FA verification, a message verification code will send to the user’s cellphone, and the user needs to input that message verification code to verify his or her true identity.

Currently, SMS message verification is the most widely used 2FA method worldwide, due to its simplicity and low costs. Before a better 2FA method coming out, the SMS message verification method will always be the merchants' first choice.
